Some thoughts

LOVE
Love is there if you wanted it to be...
You just have to see that its wrapped in beauty and hidden away between the seconds of yr life....
If you don't stop for a minute...you might miss it

Live in our present
Don't worry about the people in your Past..
There's a reason they didn't make it to your Future.

Fact of life

- As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed
to ever let you down probably will.
- You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. - You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
- You'll fight with your best friend.
- You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
- You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose
someone you love.
- So, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
- Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

This is the fact of life...The sooner we realize the better for us.

Excerpts from "The Alchemist"

I have been reading a book "The Alchemist" - by Paulo Coelho, which is about realizing one's Personal Legend, believing in it as well as pursuing it.
I would like to share few excerpts from this book which I felt touchy.

-It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.

-When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it.

-When someone makes a decision he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never imagined of when he first made the decision.

-One need not fear the unknown if one is capable of achieving what one needs and wants.

-When one is in love, things begin to make even more sense.

-The fear of suffering is worse than than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity.

-In addition to realizing one's dreams, one should also master the lessons which he has learned as he has moved towards that dream.

-Every search begins with a beginner's luck. And every search ends with the victor's being severely tested.

-Anyone who interferes with the Personal Legend of another thing will never discover his own.

-One should not give in to his fears...If he does so; he won't be able to talk to his heart.

-There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.

-Everything that happens once can never happen again; but everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time.

-Never stop dreaming.

-Not everyone can see his dreams come true in the same way.

-Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.

-The world's greatest lie: At a certain point in out lives we lose control of what's happening to us and our lives become controlled by fate.

-Intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life, where the histories of all people are connected, and we are able to know everything because it's all written there.

-If you can concentrate on the present, you'll be a happy man…the secret is here in the present. If you pay attention to the present, you can improve upon it. And if you improve on the present, what comes later will also be better…Each day, in itself, brings with it an eternity.

-Everything has been written by the same hand.

-All things are one.

-Courage is the quality most essential to understanding the language of the world.

-Everyone on earth has a treasure that awaits him.

-Wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.

-You've got to find the treasure, so that everything you have learned along the way can make sense.

-There is only one way to learn. It's through action.

-Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World and it will one day return there.

-This natural world is only an image and a copy of paradise.

-The existence of this world is simply a guarantee that there exists a world that is perfect.

-Most people see the world as a threatening place, and because they do, the world turns out indeed to be a threatening place.

-When you possess great treasures within you, and try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed.

-No one fails to suffer the consequences of everything under the sun.

-When we love, we always strive to become better than we are.
When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.

-Without love, dreams would have no meaning.

-Love is the pure language of the world...A language without words…the one true language of the universe. It requires no explanation, just as the universe needs none as it travels through endless time.

-Love is the force that transforms and improves the soul of the world.

-The boy reached through to the Soul of the World and saw that it was a part of the Soul of God. And he saw that the Soul of God was his own soul. And that he, a boy, could perform miracles.

-No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn't know it.

-A philosophy of life: I'm an adventurer, looking for treasure.

-We are afraid of losing what we have, whether it's our life our possessions and property. But this fear evaporates when we understand that our life stories and the history of the world were written by the same hand.

-We make a lot of detours in achieving our personal goal, but we should always be heading for the same destination.

Dreams - A way to see reality

DREAMS

Each and everyone of us have had some or the other dreams; Some pleasant, some terrible or frightening. If you ever put a slightest thought on it, then it may click you that dreams are the occurrence of thoughts which keep on going on continuously in your mind, sometimes bothering you or maybe something soothing your mind. Sometimes they maybe related to a miniscule thought which may have captured your attention.

Recently I had a rather unusual dream. Since now that I have a secured a fulltime job, my next thing after getting H1 is to go to my hometown Mumbai, India. The thoughts just keep on going through my mind, that in near future I will be in Mumbai. I and my roommate Chintan had just been to Washington, D.C. and that was a fun road trip. With all these thoughts in mind, I had the following dream...

' I and my Chintan have safely reached India, and are currently enjoying there. Then there came the time of departure to USA. I vividly remember that my flight was something around at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. I get a call from Chintan (staying at andheri)at 10:00 am saying that he will pick me (at Malad)in his rented car and then drop it off to the airport. (Just like what we normally do in US or tell a friend to drop you to airport. Being an international flight, you are supposed to reach the airport before 3 hrs of flight departure.)
I was thinking, "Oh Its India, everything is possible, I don't need to reach the airport before 3 hrs, just an hour or so would suffice." How stupid of me!! So Chintan comes at my place around 11:00 with his parents in a SUV. I look at the time and tell him, "Dude, we need to reach the airport atleast by 12:30. So need to move on quickly" and he says, "hey, don't worry man, we will reach there ON TIME before the flight takes off". And I am like "Yeah , as u say." Looking at the time I had, I didn't have an option, whatsoever.

Anyways I kept my stuff in car while Chintan and his parents are happily talking to my parents. I look at the time and its 12:00 pm. I tell him, "its already 12:00 pm, Can you stop talking and get in the car. We need to reach the airport." He says, "Thik hai re, faltu ka tension mat le. I will make sure that we will reach the airport." I am thinking, "OK, we will reach Airport from Malad in 30 minutes in peak hour traffic!!!" It was already 12:20 by the time we got into the car. I just looked at him to which he replied, "40 minutes baki hai abhi bhi, traffic mila to 5 minute idhar udhar, nahi to time pe pahunch jaayenge". I am like, "yeah, thanks for letting me know about it!!!"
Next thing I realize that we are at the airport in 15 minutes, and I seriously don't know how he did that!! Time is 12:55 pm. Chintan is still talking to his parents and telling them good bye and I am pleading to the airplane authorities to let me check my baggages. They told "Sorry sir, we cannot allow you to board this flight". I tell this to Chintan, who is still busy in talking and giving a departure speech, to which he replies, "Thik hai, Let me talk for 5 minutes, after that we will leave!". And I tell him, "LEAVE!!! For where!!! dude, we already missed this flight!!"

And then open my eyes, sleeping in bed, without my luggages!!!! Phew!!!!!!!!
I had a sigh of Relief when I found myself NOT IN THE AIRPORT TERMINAL!! I would have definitely missed my flight. (I already have a bad experience of missing a flight and train in US!!! And I mean it, its really a BAD experience)

So its all the thoughts which occur in your mind, or some things which you constantly think about, people you care about.

DREAMS...A way to visualize what might not always happen in real life!

Just believe in yourself

Hello,
This is my first blog and what a way to start it.

I bet all of you must have some or the other goals/motto/ideologies etc. My motto in life is "Just Believe In Yourself". I believe you can achieve whatever you want to only if you believed in yourself. If you are firm in your decision, know what to do and how to do, then nothing is impossible. Often it happens one seems to be lazy, tired, non enthusiastic, feeling down or sometimes one might fear of the age factor; some people think they are too old to do something while others think they are too young to think that they can achieve their dreams.
Its all mind over matter and depicts your personality.

I will like to conclude it with the following:
Challenges are high, the dreams are new,
The world out there is waiting for you.
Dare to dream, dare to try,
No goal is too distant, no star is too high
Just get going, Just believe in yourself!!
